Bobinsana

Sirinita Bobinsana whispers to the wounded heart, teaching it to soften, to feel and to love again- not in fear, but in deep, fluid trust with all of life.”

When Bobinsana appeared in my life, it was no coincidence it showed up at the peak of my ancestral trauma journey, when I was breathing through the extreme pain, anger and grief that I was uncovering within the bones of my being after a lifetime of not acknowledging my beloved grandmother’s tragic passing. Bobinsana came in to show me the depths of my heart and just how much I had been unconsciously holding within my being that was keeping me stuck in cycles of victimhood, disassociation and apathy. A transformative ally who always appears when I am about to breathe my way through another grief wave. Through opening my heart to her wisdom, I have been guided to understanding grief as ritual and the importance of experiencing our grief in community. Bobinsana has inspired many grief ceremonial offerings, where her heart-centered feminine spirit gently holds each individual, inviting us to soften, surrender, and fully feel the wide spectrum of emotions that rise from the sacred waters within. She helps us open to not only our grief, but to also the compassion, gratitude and love that live beneath it all.

Here’s what I revere most about Bobinsana:

  • Bobinsana gently opens and heals the heart, helping to release grief, old wounds and emotional blockages with compassion and grace. Especially if entered into dieta- a sacred Amazonian practice where participants isolate themselves, follow dietary restrictions and form deep relationships with specific plants. For centuries, Indigenous communities, like the Shipibo people of Peru have worked with Bobinsana, experiencing its profound ability to connect, heal and inspire.

  • Known to deepen lucid dreaming and inner vision, Bobinsana is often used to strengthen connection to the spirit realm, ancestors, and intuitive insight during plant dieta or ceremony.

  • As a "teacher plant," Bobinsana helps clear stagnant emotional energy and can act as a subtle energetic protector, supporting a more balanced and aligned emotional field.

  • With her delicate pink blossoms and watery essence, Bobinsana embodies divine feminine energy, inviting softness, resilience and a deeper relationship with emotional flow and sensitivity.

Why I serve Bobinsana in ceremony...

  • Bobinsana’s gentle, loving feminine energy creates a safe space for participants to access deep emotional layers, allowing grief, sadness and old heartache to surface and be released with compassion.

  • In ceremony, Bobinsana teaches us how to stay soft while becoming strong, guiding us to navigate emotions with grace, build inner strength and reclaim sensitivity as a gift.

  • Known for enhancing dreams and intuitive insight, Bobinsana helps open the channels between the physical and spiritual realms, allowing participants to connect more deeply with their soul’s truth and receive guidance from within.
