Cacao

"I’ll never forget that very first sip of ceremonial raw cacao and the wild, heart expanding beautiful breathing journey that followed! Cacao showed up right when I met my twin flame, like it knew exactly what was coming. I thought I’d done all the heart-clearing I needed to handle this kind of love, but nope- cacao was right there by my side, gently helping me grow into the love story I never saw coming... "

Here’s what I revere most about cacao:

  • Cacao contains theobromine, a natural compound that provides a gentle, sustained energy boost while promoting a positive mood without the harsh effects of caffeine.

  • Incredibly rich in antioxidants, vitamins and phytochemicals, cacao supports cardiovascular health by improving circulation and protecting the body from oxidative stress.

  • Cacao is an excellent natural source of magnesium, a vital mineral that plays a key role in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the body, including muscle function, energy production, and nervous system regulation.

  • When served in its raw form, it’s much higher in antioxidants, magnesium, iron and other essential nutrients - a true superfood!

Why I serve Cacao in ceremony...

  • Heart-Opening Properties: Cacao contains compounds like theobromine and phenylethylamine that gently stimulate the heart chakra, helping participants access vulnerability, compassion and emotional openness.

  • Supports Mindful Presence: The ceremonial ritual of drinking cacao encourages slowing down and tuning inward, creating a safe container for participants to explore and process deep emotions with intention.

  • Enhances Connection and Grounding: Cacao’s subtle energetic effects promote feelings of warmth and connection- both to oneself and the community, supporting a grounded, heart-centered space for healing and transformation to occur.

Cacao Source:

Seed of Love (Ethically sourced cacao from Guatemala, with three varieties to choose from).
