Breathing Outdoors

I often have people tell me that it’s been SO long since their last breath ceremony, and they can’t wait until they can join another to finally breathe!
My advice: Don't wait for the next breathwork ceremony. If the breath is calling, answer it! Make a playlist. Step outside. Lay on the earth. Breathe.
One of my favourite ways to practice Conscious Connected Breathwork is outdoors, where I can hear the ocean in the distance, the birds around me, feel the warmth of the sun, the gentle touch of the wind, and remember that I'm held by Momma Gaia beneath me.
Lately my Pisces heart has been navigating some big, polarizing emotions. Every single time I stop trying to think my way through them and simply breathe, something shifts. Clarity arrives. I can feel what's asking to be witnessed and healed. My mind softens, my nervous system settles, and I return to the present moment.
I can honestly say I've never finished an outdoor breathwork practice and thought, "I wish I hadn't done that." Not once. AND I have also never been disrupted by folks who may or may not see me and know what I am doing- I tend to find places off the beaten path so I won’t be interrupted and then I feel safer to welcome the full rainbow spectrum of emotion that may show up while breathing.
After breathing to the upcoming Etheric Heart Playlist, I walked away feeling lighter, more grounded, more peaceful, and more at home within myself.
Yesterday was a beautiful reminder that the medicine isn't waiting for the perfect moment or the next ceremony. Sometimes it's as simple as stepping outside... and committing to your breath in the here & now.
