Elemental Living

Choosing to live more connected to the Earth, the elements have become trusted guides. One of my favourite daily rituals is this simple elemental check-in.

🌿 How is my inner Earth? Do I feel grounded, nourished, and supported? (Physical Body)

đź’§ How is my inner Water? What emotions are asking to be felt? (Mental Body)

🔥 How is my inner Fire? What is ready to be created, expressed, or released? (Spiritual Body)

🌬️ How is my inner Air? Is my mind spacious or scattered? (Mental Body)

Where do I notice an excess of one or more elements? Where am I feeling depleted? How can I bring greater balance to how I am feeling elementally?

Then I check-in, how are the elements surrounding me influencing the elements within me?

Some days, standing in the wind is exactly the medicine I need. It clears the mental clutter, invites a deeper breath, and reminds me that I don’t need to force my way back into balance, I simply need to remember that I am nature. AND on other days the wind can contribute to more chaos & a scattered mind that I have to get myself to the forest to ground or in the ocean to cleanse myself of the excessive thoughts occupying my mind.

Perhaps today, take a quiet moment to ask yourself:

What element within me is asking to be tended to?

Curious what you notice?
