The Story of Aroha

Updated: Nov 7

ree

After two years of teaching & living in Aotearoa (New Zealand), when I left in 2009, I decided to get a tattoo ~aroha~ to honour the experiences I was blessed to have while there.

From the beautiful people I connected with, to the land in which I was fortunate to have explored from top to bottom (even Stewart Island), to the rich Polynesian culture that made my soul feel at home, to the many many many heart fulfilling adventures.

The hardest decision I ever had to make was: “Do I stay forever or leave?” I kept seeing a long term life there, while also being reminded that it was the first country outside of Canada I had lived in, and there was still so much more of the world to see.

What I didn’t realize though, was that this seemingly tiny gesture of my love, a small tattoo of the word aroha, on my left wrist, was planting a seed, that would continue to grow quietly behind the scenes.

So here we breathe it’s 2025 and that tattoo has manifested into the name of my new business! ~Aroha Rising~

That tattoo was more than just getting inked, it was a vibration, a calling, a reminder of this soul’s path to keep choosing love, presence & breath ~Aroha~ and to keep choosing growth, expansion, evolution ~Rising~

Excited to share more of Aroha Rising with you! One noticeable shift you’ll see from me is more opportunities to connect online either 1:1 or in group settings! Many ways to connect and I am soul grateful to be breathing on this path with you!

Thanks for being here as your presence is soul important in the collective rising of aroha!
